Life is hard; it is not easy. It will never stop challenging us, and we will never live a fulfilling life if we avoid or ignore those challenges. The funny thing is those challenges will grow with us in complexity. As we grow older and learn more about life, the challenges change, and the problems from 5 years ago seem very simple.
Ironically, life will not be enjoyable without those challenges because we need them, although we wish we wouldn’t. It is even more ironic that what gives us fulfillment in life is solving those challenges, and we grow as more capable human beings as a result. This is the driving force behind innovation. We would not innovate if we did not enjoy solving the challenges that life throws at us.
There is another thing that nature wants us to do, and that is to create offspring. Nature gave us the urge to do that with an excellent reward at the end of it, pleasure. So, why and how did nature urge us to innovate and solve challenges?
Nature urges us to innovate because it increases our ability to survive, and this urge is called curiosity. That is why kids are so curious; they have the urge to learn more about life. Because they would not survive if they didn’t do it, and it generates pleasure; thus, there is no reason not to do it.
But we live in a weird world where curiosity is only for kids, and as mature adults, we should solely focus on one thing, our job. But life will not stop challenging us, and the ability to be curious will stay. But why did we stop ourselves from being curious and follow our dreams and desires? Probably because we learned in school that learning is boring and useless.
That is the thing about curiosity; it will only help you and create pleasure if you start exploring things that you do not know. As a result, you learn more about yourself, the world, and life. This makes it easier to face the challenges that life throws at you. The challenges become more complicated, but you grow in complexity too. As a result, you have more tools, skills, and knowledge to create the life you want to life—bonus, pleasure, and fulfillment.
That is why your growth by being curious. That is the whole premise of this company to create an environment where people spark their curiosity. They will see growth and be more capable of creating the life they want to live. In the end, if we all do that, there is nothing we as a human race cannot achieve.
