Most people on think in increments, wanting to improve by 5% or 20% but never with 1000%. That is what moonshot thinking is. Having a moonshot mindset means applying 10X thinking (or 1,000%) to\u00a0all<\/em>\u00a0your efforts and challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s is driven by exponential technologies that\u00a0any<\/em>\u00a0entrepreneur or leader needs to succeed in the decade ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WHY SHOULD YOU AIM FOR 10X GROWTH INSTEAD OF 10%?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ll give you three reasons:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. As my friend Astro Teller, Alphabet\u2019s (Google) \u201cCaptain of Moonshots\u201d says, when you try to do only 10% better, you\u2019re putting yourself in direct competition with everyone else in your industry. And it\u2019s a competition that you\u2019re likely to lose.<\/li>
  2. When you shoot for 10X improvement and try to do something radically hard, you approach the problem you\u2019re solving in a\u00a0completely<\/em>\u00a0different way.<\/li>
  3. When you attack a problem as though it were solvable, even if you don\u2019t know how to solve it, you\u2019ll be shocked at what you come up with.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    In our world, change is the only constant, and the rate of change is increasing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You understand that Moonshots striving for a 10X improvement (or 1,000%) offer one-hundred-fold the benefit<\/strong>\u00a0compared to 10% incremental improvement, but are rarely one-hundred-fold more difficult to achieve. A 10X improvement is 100 times more worth it, but it\u2019s\u00a0not<\/em>\u00a0100 times harder.<\/li>
    6. As a leader,\u00a0you know that Moonshots focus and motivate your team<\/strong>, help you attract the best talent in the world.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
